Sacha Baron Cohen: Quentin Tarantino's Latest 'Django Unchained' Addition?
The amount of casting news regarding Quentin Tarantino's upcoming Western movie, 'Django Unchained,' has been staggering. It seems not a week goes by without a new star coming onboard, and that trend continues: According to Variety, Sacha Baron Cohen is closing in on a deal to play a small-but-important role in the film. If the 'Borat' star ends up signing on, he'll join a cast that already includes Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kerry Washington, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Samuel L. Jackson, Christoph Waltz, Kurt Russell, Don Johnson and the RZA. 'Django' is like the 'New Year's Eve' of prestige movies! 'Django Unchained' follows former slave Django (Foxx), who heads back to the plantation to free his wife (Washington) from the evil owner, Calvin Candie (DiCaprio). Along the way, he gets help from a bounty hunter (Waltz). The Quentin Tarantino-directed film is scheduled to hit theaters on Christmas Day 2012.
